Intuitive Coaching Overview
Intuition and the Mind
The word “intuition” comes from the Latin verb “intueri”, meaning "to know without the need for conscious reasoning." In layman's terms, intuition is a knowing rather than a thinking action.
Let me be clear, intuition is not the same as emotion. So, being intuitive does not translate into being emotional. Quite the opposite, actually.
Here is what I mean. Most of us rely on our minds to make decisions and process situations. Rarely do we check in with our intuition (the still small voice within). We may hear that voice when we're alone or when we slow down, but in the moment, our minds usually run things. And when our minds are running 90 miles an hour, that can be a problem.
Our minds use conscious reasoning to make decisions. The mind cannot tell what is in alignment and what is not. And, without alignment, we are easily blown about like leaves in the wind.
Think about it, when our minds start wrestling with a situation, we often hear a "yeah, but..." That "yeah, but" is a clear sign the mind is pulling in outside stimuli - societal pressures, family or work dynamics. Along with those external influences come emotional attachments. And, like the mind, emotional attachments don't always recognize what is in true alignment with our authentic selves.
So How Does Intuitive Coaching Work?
Intuitive Coaching is grounded in the principles of traditional coaching, and enhanced (some might say blessed) with the tool of intuition.
Insider tip: We all have intuition. We are born with it.
Intuitive coaches, however, intentionally build their intuitive muscle. For us, intuition becomes the primary tool we use to assess, listen, and ask questions.
An Intuitive Coach allows their intuition to guide the coaching session to gently guide the client out of overthinking and into their own authentic wisdom.
Do we use our minds? Yes, but it is not the central tool we draw upon. In doing so, the intuitive coach avoids getting caught in their own mental "loop."
Why Does All This Matter?
The more authentic a client becomes, the more they are able to live in alignment with their true desires and life’s purpose. And that—living in alignment—is where transformation begins.

GROUP COACHING
Group Coaching starts from the same premise as Individual Intuitive Coaching; however, clients draw upon the group’s collective energy while doing individual work.
As individuals, we tend to overlook our internal misalignments due to being so very familiar with them.
In a group, others see what we cannot see. And they often see the very essence of who we are even before we do. The gift of a group session is the collective support and insight shared.
Group Coaching is distinct from Group Therapy in that it is not designed to address mental health issues.
As with Individual Coaching, should there be a time when someone in a Group Coaching session would benefit from counseling, they will be encouraged to find a mental health practitioner.
Additionally, members of the group do not counsel one another as stated in the Group Coaching agreement.

EXECUTIVE COACHING
Define your company culture before it defines you.
Companies that take a holistic approach to leadership often find their teams and managers operating at a higher level.
If we expect leaders to truly grasp the bigger picture of vision, mission, values, strategic planning, execution, and accountability, we must equip them with the tools and insight to do so.
Too often, individuals are promoted into leadership positions based on technical performance, without the personal development needed to succeed in those roles.
But real leadership is rooted in relationships. And for some, authentic relationship does not come naturally. Sure they may have friendships, but relationship is different than friendship.
Nurturing leaders in relational skills, rather than merely advancing them through promotions based on technical merit, creates leaders that others believe in and want to follow.
When leaders learn to ask questions from a place of inquiry rather than judgement, they become better at uncovering root causes and identifying effective solutions. This approach encourages openness and creativity, as people are no longer holding back out of fear of being judged.
Authentic leadership also means creating an environment where individuals use their unique gifts and talents.
Fostering an organizational culture grounded in growth, personal integrity, and mutual respect doesn't happen by chance. It requires intentionality. The result? A workplace people believe in, and one where they can truly thrive.
The Role of Executive Coaching
Execute coaching starts with the person.
When leaders operate from a place of authenticity, they become more grounded and genuinely confident. This confidence isn't driven by ego, but by clarity and a deep interest in the people and situations around them.
Leading from this place has the power to shift team dynamics and even transform an an entire company culture.

HOW IS INTUITIVE COACHING DIFFERENT THAN TRADITIONAL COACHING?
Intuitive Coaching starts with the soul as the central guide, the barometer. That place where the external noise does NOT reside.
Clients are guided by their soul's wisdom to connect to their intuition and release blocks that are holding them back from reaching their desires and life purpose.
Traditional Coaching focuses on the mind utilizing mind-focused strategies and tools. This approach often feels natural since from a young age we are taught to use our mind to “think” our way through things. Nothing wrong with this style until the soul comes knocking.
Coaching and Energy Work Disclaimer
The International Coach Federation’s definition of coaching quoted in part is as follows: “Professional Coaching is an ongoing professional relationship that helps people produce extraordinary results in their lives, careers, businesses or organizations. Through the process of coaching, clients deepen their learning, improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life. In each meeting, the client chooses the focus of conversation, while the coach listens and contributes observations and questions. This interaction creates clarity and moves the client into action. Coaching accelerates the client’s progress by providing greater focus and awareness of choice. Coaching concentrates on where clients are now and what they are willing to do to get where they want to be in the future. Coaches recognize that results are a matter of the client’s intentions, choices and actions, supported by the coach’s efforts and application of the coaching process.”
